Well, let's make it now officially 23 years of harrassment that the local council has taken part in.
I have been working like mad organising the garden and growing stuff in it. Today (10 minutes ago) a council 'officer' knocks on the door regarding a complaint about the garden "It looks perfectly fine to me but casn I check the back garden?"

By this time I had told him I was NOT having this again.
Took him around to the back garden and he says: "Perfectly well managed. I'll go back to the office and report no problem"
Strange that he could not believe this had been going on 2-4 times a year for 23 years.
This is why I do not talk to my plant pot, solar lights and garden tool stealing neighbours (Council do not want to know about that or the backlog of repairs, though.
Official complaint going from me to the Mayor's office and head of estate management.
I wonder if another official will now write as a follow up complaining about the garden...they usually do.
